Cyber Security Detection Engineer (m/f/d)
Our partner offers WLAN and Network Access Control solutions and software development. The strengths of our ROCKEN partner lie in the evaluation, planning, implementation as well as operation and support of WLAN and Network Access Control solutions.
Role:
Those who want not only to detect cyberattacks but to stay one step ahead will find a challenging environment here with the latest technologies. We are looking for a professional who will take security monitoring to the next level and actively contribute to digital security.
Responsibilities:
Building and further developing intelligent security monitoring solutions
Development and optimisation of SIEM architectures and detection concepts
Analysis of complex security events and identification of new threats
Implementation of modern detection and response strategies
Participation in threat intelligence, threat hunting and digital forensics
Automation of security workflows with SOAR and scripting
Optimisation of log management and security analytics
Support in cloud security, identity security and zero trust projects
Close collaboration with infrastructure, platform and DevSecOps specialists
Evaluation of new cyber security technologies and best practices
Qualifications:
Professional experience in cyber security or security engineering
Knowledge of SIEM, XDR, EDR or SOAR solutions
Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, Elastic or comparable platforms is an advantage
Understanding of modern IT infrastructures, cloud platforms and network security
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented thinking
Enthusiasm for current cyber security trends and innovative technologies
