Responsibilities:
You lead the purchasing team both professionally and personally and are responsible for its further development.
You coordinate procurement in the assigned product groups with the responsible departments.
You maintain supplier relationships and accompany their audits if necessary.
By planning upcoming tenders and awards, you ensure structured procurement.
You support employees in price and contract negotiations and accompany demanding discussions.
You review existing purchasing processes and implement improvements with materials management.
As a contact person for internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you clarify organisational and commercial questions.
You actively promote collaboration with preferred suppliers as well as the automation of purchasing processes.
Qualifications:
Technical basic training with further education as a technician HF or engineer FH.
Additional business qualification or federal specialist certificate or diploma in purchasing.
Several years of purchasing experience, ideally with at least five years of professional practice.
Experience in leading purchasing teams with operational and tactical tasks.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA P2P processes, including digital process optimisation.
Understanding of technical procurement requirements in an industrial environment.
Strong negotiation and communication skills as well as confident appearance in demanding situations.
Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written.
