Our medical team consists of a chief physician, a senior physician, three consultants and three assistant doctors. We offer cranial surgery and spinal surgery including treatment of complex spinal injuries. Neurosurgery also participates in the operation of the pain centre. We are looking for a junior assistant in neurosurgery by arrangement.
Who we are
Your tasks
- You want to actively support us in everyday clinical life for 1 to 4 months, participate in all ward rounds and reports, perform neurological examinations and assist in operations?
- At the end of a several-month internship, you will be able to take medical histories, assess X-ray, CT and MRI images and, under supervision, care for a limited number of patients and maintain their medical records
Your profile
- Active medical student
- Student in the elective study year (CH) or in the practical year or
- Student at the time of the clinical traineeship in the 4th year of study or 2nd clinical year
- Minimum internship duration of 4 weeks
- German language skills at least B2
