Is looking for a

Expert Nurse in Prevention of Healthcare-Associated Infections (EPIAS) at 30%

This role plays a key part in the safety of patients, staff and visitors. Through your expertise, you actively contribute to reducing infection risks and promoting a strong institutional culture of hygiene and quality care.

Your responsibilities:

• Define, implement and evaluate protocols and procedures for infection prevention and control
• Analyse epidemiological data to guide concrete and measurable actions
• Support professionals daily by enhancing their skills and vigilance regarding infection risks
• Coordinate the actions of hygiene and infection prevention referents
• Prepare and lead HPCI sessions with Management
• Influence practices sustainably through targeted audits and improvement recommendations
• Participate in managing risk situations (epidemics, infection alerts) and coordinate necessary actions
• Ensure regulatory and scientific monitoring in line with cantonal and federal recommendations
• Participate in the RSBJ safety-quality committees
• Guarantee compliance with hygiene standards in institutional projects (works, equipment, specific processes)

Your profile:

• Tertiary degree: Bachelor in nursing or equivalent qualification
• Federal EPIAS diploma
• Several years of experience in acute care
• Interprofessional coordination
• Autonomy and organisational skills
• Computer proficiency
