About the job
The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices, as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Annually, we care for approximately 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. Additionally, we are an important training centre in the canton.
For our intermediate ward, we are looking for a Health Specialist EFZ from January 2027 or by arrangement.
Here you will become the central hub in the hospital. You will care for patients directly from the emergency department in our short-term unit, for observation or before definitive inpatient care. This not only ensures treatment quality but also actively manages efficient patient flow.
Your focus is on the intermediate ward, but you remain flexible – supporting other nursing teams as needed and occasionally.

- Participation in the documentation and quality assurance of nursing processes

- Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ or a foreign diploma recognised by the SRK
