About the job
hostettler veloland gmbh is a bicycle experience world covering around 400 m2. Well-known and established bicycle brands such as BIXS, Amflow, Tour de Suisse or Mustang are part of the range, as well as renowned accessory and clothing brands that leave no customer wishes unfulfilled.
Your Tasks
- Professional leadership and support of employees in the bicycle workshop
- Receipt, coordination and monitoring of all repair and service orders
- Active participation and professional support in demanding repair and service work
- Supervision and training of our apprentice bicycle mechanics EFZ as the responsible trainer
- Preparation of cost estimates and handling of invoicing
- Planning, coordination and prioritisation of workshop orders
- Active involvement and continuous optimisation of workshop processes and procedures
- Ensuring the operational readiness of machines and tools including organisation and monitoring of maintenance work
- Responsibility for material management as well as processing and coordination of material orders
Your Profile
- Completed training as a bicycle mechanic EFZ
- Several years of professional experience in the bicycle industry, ideally with initial leadership experience
- Enjoyment in leading, promoting and developing employees as well as training apprentices
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Organisational talent and the ability to keep an overview even in hectic situations
- Strong quality and sense of responsibility
- Good communication skills and enjoyment of customer contact
- Team spirit, commitment and a high degree of initiative
