What awaits you

Your challenge

You take on a central role in the design and further development of the modern IT infrastructure (workplace, network, Azure Cloud and security). In doing so, you work closely with the Head of IT Services, the IT system administrators and external partners. Your main tasks include:

• Solution design: You conceive and develop sustainable IT infrastructure solutions based on modern cloud technologies and translate business requirements into technical architectures.

• Evaluation & procurement of systems: In the evaluation and selection of products, tools and services, you make well-founded decisions and ensure that these fit optimally into the existing system landscape.

• Implementation & customising: You are responsible for the implementation, configuration and continuous development of the infrastructure – from workplace through network to cloud.

• Security: You consider security aspects from the outset, coordinate penetration tests and consistently implement improvements.

• Project work: You work on diverse projects, such as creating an authorisation concept, zero trust security model, migration of file servers to SharePoint and further development of client management.

• 3rd level support & engineering: You are the technical contact person for complex issues and solve the challenges with your expertise.

• Cloud & identity: Azure, M365 Tenant (Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange)

• Network: Meraki, Azure

• Security: MS Defender, Zero Trust model

• Server: Windows Server

• Clients: Windows, MacOS, BYOD (Mobile)

What you bring

Your profile

• Completed technical training, ideally with further education at a university of applied sciences

• At least 3 years of practical experience in the cloud IT infrastructure environment as a system engineer

• Good knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Azure), network and IT security technologies, Windows Server as well as Windows and MacOS clients (at a conceptual level)

• You are implementation-strong, work solution- and service-oriented

• You are fluent in German
