Our client, a Swiss company recognised for its expertise in manufacturing high-precision components for demanding sectors such as luxury, industry, and medical, is seeking a Metrology Technician to strengthen its quality team.
At the heart of control activities, you will play an essential role in measurement reliability, continuous improvement of control methods, and supporting production teams.
Your mission
A true expert in metrology, you ensure the accuracy of dimensional controls and actively participate in optimising quality processes.
In this capacity, you will notably be responsible for:
- Programming, validating, and optimising measurement programmes on 2D and 3D machines.
- Ensuring the conformity and performance of control methods.
- Training and supporting colleagues on measurement equipment and methods.
- Participating in drafting control, adjustment, and usage instructions.
- Managing control means (calibration, monitoring, non-compliant equipment, stock management).
- Conducting capability studies of measurement systems (Gage R&R).
- Creating and updating plans as well as control ranges.
- Actively participating in the continuous improvement of control activities in production.
- Collaborating closely with Quality, Production, and Industrialisation teams.
Your profile
You are recognised for your rigour, technical expertise, and ability to support teams on site.
Ideally, you have:
- A higher education (Technician ES, Bachelor HES or equivalent) in microtechnology, metrology, or industrial systems.
- A confirmed experience of at least 1 to 5 years in industrial metrology.
- Excellent mastery of three-dimensional measuring machines, ideally Zeiss and/or MicroVu.
- Strong knowledge in reading plans according to ISO and GPS standards.
- Experience in validating control methods (Gage R&R).
- Good command of IT tools related to quality control.
- Fluent French and professional English (minimum B2).
- A developed analytical mind, autonomy, rigour, and excellent communication skills.
