Head of Control and Support Applications

The Directorate of Technology and Innovation (DTI) is responsible for technology management at Insel Group. Within the framework of digitalisation, extremely interesting challenges arise in the hospital group. For the Control and Support Applications team, we are looking for an inclusive leader who contributes to the success of Insel Group with experience, expertise, and leadership qualities.

What to expect

• You are responsible for stable operation and life cycle management of your portfolio of administrative control and support applications
• In addition to your leadership duties, you support the evaluation of innovative solutions
• You plan your team of approximately 6-8 employees and ensure compliance with the Directorate's standard processes according to ITIL
• You empower your employees and support them in their professional development
• You immediately recognise risks and define appropriate measures; any delays are identified and addressed
• You independently lead small to medium-sized projects, create analyses, concepts, business cases up to implementation and operation

What you bring

• Proven leadership experience in a preferably similar IT leadership role
• Training as an IT specialist with higher vocational training such as business informatics, medical informatics, or equivalent
• Several years of professional experience in healthcare or a similar environment is desirable
• Solid experience in application management
• Your analytical and conceptual skills help you to further develop your area of responsibility
• You communicate competently and convincingly with your employees and stakeholders
• You have a high level of motivation, enthusiasm, and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration
