Position: Senior Associate – Financial Services & Regulatory

Role objective:

✓ Acquisition of mandates in the legal field

✓ Comprehensive legal advice to national and international clients on all regulatory aspects of the financial services sector, in particular:

• Banking law, insurance law, collective investment schemes law, capital markets law and asset management
• FINMA regulations (FINMAG, FINMAV) and other relevant laws (OR, GWG)

✓ Advising and supporting clients in complying with national and international laws and regulations, including supervisory law CSSF, MFSA, FMA, CIMA, BaFin and AML/KYC regulations

✓ Communication with supervisory authorities

✓ Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and legal documents in the financial services sector including due diligence and structuring of complex transactions

✓ Representing clients in regulatory disputes and arbitration proceedings

✓ Participation in the development of new products and services

✓ Active collaboration in an international team

✓ Participation in industry events and conferences

✓ Active use of AI

Requirements profile

Gender: M / F

Age: 30-50

Professional competence

Education / further training:

✓ Swiss bar admission and first-class qualification

✓ Additional studies in business law or financial law

✓ Notary patent (desirable)

Professional experience:

✓ 5 to 15 years of relevant professional experience in a law firm, auditing company, bank or asset management

Languages:

✓ Fluent, appropriate English

✓ Fluent, appropriate German
