Role:
In this role as a senior-level IT system engineering specialist, you design demanding solutions for complex technical environments and thus contribute to a high performance and quality standard. You are responsible for the conception, implementation, and further development of modern IT system landscapes that provide a stable and efficient basis for advanced machine and automation solutions. You combine technological excellence with a high degree of creativity to realise customised, future-proof infrastructures. You actively contribute your profound expertise, analyse requirements holistically, and translate them into high-performance, secure, and scalable system architectures. Through your personal commitment, you make a central contribution to the continuous optimisation of the IT environment and sustainable value creation for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- You install, configure, and maintain Windows servers in a demanding system environment.
- In this role, you take on worldwide support, monitoring, and maintenance of the entire IT infrastructure.
- As a senior-level IT system engineering specialist, you ensure reliable 2nd and 3rd level client support.
- You are responsible for backup strategies as well as recovery, thus ensuring high data security.
- In this role, you administer M365 and various application servers and optimise their operation.
- As a senior-level IT system engineering specialist, you work closely with the CIO and independently manage IT projects.
Qualifications:
- Completed training as a System Engineer HF or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience
- Very good knowledge of the Windows environment
- Experience in virtual environments with ESXi
- Ideally, initial experience with Veeam
- Fluent German and English skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, goal-oriented and quality-conscious working style with high customer orientation
