Rethinking specialised nursing education – and shaping its next phase of development.
At USZ, we train experts in anaesthesia nursing, adult intensive care nursing, paediatric intensive care nursing, and emergency nursing. The individual educational programmes are led by experienced education managers. Their task is to adopt an overarching perspective, advance common topics, and help shape developments for USZ.
Particularly exciting: With the transition of today’s NDS HF into Higher Professional Examinations, specialised nursing education is facing a fundamental change. You will work on the foundations for the new educational landscape and actively help shape its implementation at USZ.

Your role with us
You connect the four specialised educational programmes and create the conditions for joint developments to progress.
- You lead the NDS HF specialist group and facilitate the exchange among education managers.
- You address overarching pedagogical and conceptual issues and develop solutions together with those involved.
- You use insights from evaluations and quality development to specifically set new impulses.
- You further develop common structures and interfaces of specialised nursing education.
- You bring the USZ perspective into collaboration with educational institutions, professional committees, and other partners.
- You actively contribute to the foundations for the transition of the NDS HF into the Higher Professional Examinations and help shape the resulting structures and processes at USZ.
What you bring
- MSc in Vocational Education or a comparable qualification
- Completed NDS-HF course
- Profound knowledge of specialised nursing education and the Swiss education system
- Experience in the development and quality assurance of educational offerings
- Conceptual strength and the ability to bring together different perspectives
- Initiative and enjoyment in driving change forward together with others
