Sales Consultant Field Service Industry (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Heating elements used in countless applications – from mechanical engineering to medical technology to plastics processing. Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a technically skilled professional for the field service in the electrotechnical and industrial environment. You will advise existing and potential customers on technical products and solutions and strategically expand the sales territory. You combine your electrotechnical expertise with experience in technical sales and accompany customers from needs assessment to quotation preparation. The position offers a versatile mix of technical consulting, customer care and new customer acquisition.
Responsibilities:
Support and expansion of existing customer relationships in technical field service
Active new customer acquisition and systematic expansion of the sales area
Technical advice to customers on electrotechnical products and solutions
Analysis of customer requirements, applications and technical issues
Preparation and follow-up of quotations, projects and sales inquiries
Conducting customer visits, product presentations and technical consultations on site
Identification of new market potentials, applications and customer segments
Close cooperation with internal sales, engineering, product management and development
Support of customer projects from needs assessment to sales completion
Monitoring of market, competition and technology trends
Maintenance of customer and sales data in the CRM system
Support in the further development of sales strategies and product solutions
Qualifications:
Completed basic electrotechnical training EFZ, for example automation technician, electrician, electrical engineer or mechatronics technician
Several years of experience in technical field service, preferably in an industrial environment
Sound knowledge in electrical engineering, automation or industrial applications
Experience in technical customer consulting, new customer acquisition and sales processes
Good knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office
Driving licence category B and willingness to undertake regular customer visits
Very good German language skills, English skills are an advantage
