Automation Technician (m/f/d)

Role:
You are responsible for control cabinet construction, wiring and commissioning of controls and systems. In addition to manufacturing and testing, you support fault finding, service and troubleshooting and occasionally work directly at the customer site.
Responsibilities:
You build and wire switchgear combinations and controls.
You take on the mechanical assembly, fitting and final inspection of control cabinets.
You carry out commissioning, diagnostics and troubleshooting on systems.
You work in the field of process and conveyor technology and support service and maintenance work.
You document your work and collaborate closely with project teams and customers.
You undertake occasional external assignments, mainly in Switzerland. These usually last one day up to a maximum of one week.
Qualifications:
You have training as an automation technician, automatic assembler or switchgear assembler with a federal diploma (EFZ).
Alternatively, you have mechanical training with experience in the electrical engineering field.
You bring experience in control cabinet construction and system wiring.
You are familiar with electrical fault finding and troubleshooting.
You are flexible for occasional travel activities.
You have good German language skills and a driving licence of category B.
