Construction Manager Building Construction (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced professional as Construction Manager Building Construction / Project Manager Construction for an established Swiss construction company. You will independently manage demanding building construction, conversion and renovation projects from work preparation to project completion including warranty work. The focus is on site organisation, work preparation (AVOR), measurement, cost control and billing as well as coordinating the involved specialists and partners. Furthermore, you will contribute to the further development of construction processes and innovation topics in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
Independent technical and commercial management of building construction, conversion and renovation projects from takeover to completion of warranty work
Responsibility for site organisation, work preparation (AVOR), scheduling and resource coordination
Leadership and coordination of foremen, supervisors, site personnel, subcontractors and suppliers
Ongoing monitoring of construction progress, quality, deadlines, costs and site results
Preparation and verification of measurements as well as ensuring correct and timely billing of construction services
Conducting post-calculations, cost controls and site reporting for the economic management of projects
Coordination of materials, machinery and personnel as well as ensuring an efficient site workflow
Accompanying construction meetings, inspections and handovers as well as handling claims and warranty work
Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, quality requirements and applicable construction regulations
Collaboration with clients, site management, planning offices, authorities and specialist companies throughout the entire project execution
Participation in digitalisation, process optimisation and innovation topics in construction execution and project management
Qualifications:
Completed further education as certified construction manager HF, master builder or degree as civil engineer FH/ETH
Several years of professional experience in construction management in building construction, ideally complemented by experience in conversion and renovation
Sound knowledge in work preparation (AVOR), site organisation, measurement, costing and construction billing
Experience in the economic management of construction projects including cost, schedule and performance control
Good knowledge of Swiss construction processes, contracts for work and relevant SIA standards
Good user skills in construction administration, costing and MS Office applications
Very good German language skills for site documentation, billing and project communication
