Overhead Line Technician
What awaits you:
- Maintain overhead lines and electrical systems to keep our network running without interruptions
- Take on the installation, maintenance, and repair of our electrical networks and overhead lines
- Resolve faults in the assigned railway network quickly and efficiently
- Operate lifting platforms and cranes safely and precisely
- Repair various types of cable faults reliably and promptly
What you bring with you:
- Basic vocational training (EFZ) and willingness to train as a train driver (categories B80/B100) to operate cranes and lifting platforms
- Driving licence category B, workplace must be reachable within 45 minutes by car
- Willingness for on-call duty (approx. 6 weeks/year, planned 1 year in advance) and night shifts (40-50% of working time, planned 1 month in advance)
- Strong safety awareness, teamwork skills, no fear of heights, and physical fitness as you often work at heights
- You are reliable and responsible because your work really matters
