Job Description
On behalf of our client, a private bank in the Geneva area, we are looking for an Investment Funds – Senior Corporate Actions Specialist to strengthen their teams in Geneva.
You will join the Back Office Operations department and become part of a team specialised in processing securities operations related to investment funds. You will ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of operations, while maintaining close collaboration with internal teams and custodian banks.
This position is to be filled on a temporary contract basis for one year, full-time.
Main Responsibilities
- Process and analyse securities events received via SWIFT, mail, and Telekurs.
- Manage securities operations and coupons related to investment funds.
- Provide accurate and timely notifications to Client Relationship Officers.
- Reconcile cash and securities positions for all files.
- Process instructions related to voluntary operations and forward them to custodian banks.
- Correctly record securities operations in the banking system.
- Monitor and resolve incidents or queries related to securities operations.
- Respond to requests from internal teams and custodian banks.
- Perform daily controls and administrative tasks necessary for the smooth running of the activity.
- Ensure the integrity, reliability, and compliance of operational processes.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of working methods and internal procedures.
We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:
- Between three and five years of proven experience in Corporate Actions.
- Experience in processing operations related to investment funds.
- Fluent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with SWIFT and reconciliation processes of cash and securities positions.
- Knowledge of the Temenos Globus banking system is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a sustained workload.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of rigour, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude, sense of responsibility, and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent team spirit and very good interpersonal skills.
