In this responsible leadership role, you will lead the purchasing department of the Winterthur Cantonal Hospital and, together with your team, ensure economical, legally compliant and reliable procurement for a modern central hospital.
You are responsible for the operational and strategic development of purchasing, lead your team professionally and personally, and ensure professional procurement processes, a high level of service quality towards the specialist departments, as well as effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
A special focus is on the further development of purchasing processes, the secure operation and optimisation of the ERP and P2P systems used, as well as the correct implementation of the requirements of public procurement law.

Your tasks
- You lead the purchasing department of KSW professionally, personally and organisationally and purposefully develop the team, processes and structures
- You are responsible for efficient, transparent and legally compliant procurement processes – from requirements clarification through ordering and contract management to supplier management
- You ensure that public procurements are correctly prepared, carried out and documented
- You further develop operational and strategic purchasing in close cooperation with specialist departments, logistics, finance and other interfaces
- You take a central role in the further development and implementation of ERP, P2P and other system solutions as well as in the optimisation of master data, invoice processes and reporting
- You identify potentials for standardisation, digitalisation and process improvement and sustainably combine cost-effectiveness, supply security, compliance and user orientation
Your profile
- You have completed higher education and/or further training in business administration, purchasing, supply chain management, business law or a comparable field
- You bring several years of leadership experience in purchasing, ideally in a complex healthcare or public law environment
- You have sound knowledge of modern purchasing processes, supplier, contract and category management; experience with public procurement is a clear advantage
- You have very good ERP knowledge and experience with P2P solutions; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Jaggaer is an advantage
- You understand the requirements of a service-oriented purchasing department and support specialist departments competently, pragmatically and solution-oriented
- You are a strong leader, communicative and implementation-oriented personality who actively shapes change and convincingly involves employees and stakeholders
