System Engineer

To complement our well-established and motivated team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement at our headquarters in Urdorf near Zurich for a proactive, independent, and motivated System Engineer (m/f/d).

Job Description

• Ensuring 1st-3rd level support within the team
• Support in system administration & client management
• Resolving complex requests in close collaboration with the team
• Active participation in IT projects & process optimisation
• Installation, configuration & maintenance of hardware/software
• Responsibility for server maintenance & system stability
• 24/7 on-call duty in a rotating system

Qualifications

• IT training or studies with relevant certifications
• Experience in Microsoft/Linux administration & cloud technologies
• Confident in using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, JSM)
• Scripting skills: Java, Python, PowerShell
• Know-how in VMWare, KVM, monitoring & backup/restore
• Familiar with AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO & network technology (VLAN, VPN, firewall)
• Basic knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL
• Independent, team-oriented, communicative
• Fluent in German & English
