Role:
In this versatile role, you are responsible for the operational procurement of technical components. You ensure timely and economical material supply and work closely with production, work preparation, design and logistics departments.
Responsibilities:
Independent operational procurement of technical components, drawing parts, assemblies and materials
Obtaining, checking and comparing supplier offers
Creating and monitoring orders in the ERP system
Ensuring material availability considering quality, costs and delivery dates
Monitoring order confirmations, delivery dates and open orders
Active supplier management and communication with national and international suppliers
Handling delivery deviations, complaints and returns
Checking technical drawings, parts lists and specifications
Maintaining article, supplier and procurement master data
Qualifications:
Completed technical basic training, for example as a polymechanic, designer or in a comparable technical profession
Commercial further training or further training in purchasing is an advantage
Professional experience in operational purchasing, preferably in an industrial or technical environment
Good technical understanding and experience in reading technical drawings
Confident handling of ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel
Negotiation skills as well as a strong awareness of costs, quality and deadlines
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication skills, teamwork and assertiveness
Very good German and good English skills
