Role:
Our client is an internationally active industrial company with an established market position and many years of experience in the development and sales of technical solutions. The company offers a modern working environment with short decision-making paths and is looking for a committed leader to actively further develop the finance organisation.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for finance and accounting including general and subsidiary ledgers
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as group reporting
Responsibility for budgeting, forecasts, financial planning and controlling
Ensuring liquidity planning and cash management
Responsibility for payroll accounting and the internal charging of personnel costs
Preparation of VAT returns for Switzerland and Germany
Leadership and development of a small finance team
Responsibility for dunning and debt collection as well as receivables management
Conducting account reconciliations and ensuring proper bookkeeping
Leading and implementing finance projects as well as continuous optimisation and digitalisation of finance processes
Qualifications:
Commercial basic training with further education as Swiss Certified Specialist in Finance and Accounting, Swiss Certified Expert in Accounting and Controlling or business administration degree (FH/University)
Several years of professional and leadership experience in finance and accounting in an industrial or trading company
Sound knowledge in financial statement preparation, controlling, liquidity management as well as Swiss accounting and VAT law (CH/DE)
Very good IT skills and experience with ERP systems and digital finance processes
Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
