Tasks

• You are the nursing contact person responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing process, involving the social environment and the internal and external network.
• You take on all household tasks - except cleaning – and actively involve the residents, thereby specifically promoting their social and cultural participation.
• You encourage and support the residents in meeting their basic needs, in health promotion and in crisis situations.
• You support apprentices and students from various health and social care training programmes in developing their skills.
• You actively participate in shaping the team process as well as in the further development of the nursing group concept and nursing services.

Profile

• Passion for the concept of nursing groups
• Completed training as a certified nursing specialist HF/FH with SRK recognition for diplomas from abroad as well as proof of knowledge or experience in assisted living forms
• You appreciate a high degree of independence and like to contribute your diverse interests – whether in cooking, organising various daily activities or supporting residents with their health challenges
• You like to take responsibility in a manageable team with different vocational qualifications

The annual salary for this position ranges from CHF 85,228 to CHF 113,882 (100%) depending on experience.

The Health Centres for the Elderly of the City of Zurich are one of the largest geriatric institutions in Switzerland. We are the leading service provider in the elderly care sector – with competence, heart and a comprehensive range from a single source.

The nursing groups of the Health Centres for the Elderly consist of manageable shared flats and specialise in the needs of people with dementia and people with psychiatric disorders. The Triemlipark 2 nursing group, focusing on dementia, is located below the Triemli Hospital in District 3.
