Transport Planner

On behalf of one of our clients, a recognised and active company in the Gros-de-Vaud region, we are looking for a:

Your mission

• Organise and plan daily transports according to the needs of the sites and clients.
• Ensure optimal allocation of vehicles and available resources.
• Coordinate the activity of drivers and maintain constant contact with field teams.
• Adapt schedules according to unforeseen events, emergencies or last-minute changes.
• Guarantee compliance with deadlines, safety instructions and current regulations.
• Monitor the progress of operations and ensure smooth communication between the various stakeholders.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of logistical and organisational processes.
• Maintain a professional quality relationship with clients, suppliers and partners.

Your profile

• Proven experience in transport planning, logistics, public works or the construction sector.
• Former heavy goods vehicle driver, professional driver or significant site experience: a real asset.
• Very good knowledge of the field and the regional fabric.
• Excellent organisational, coordination and priority management skills.
• Reactive personality, able to make decisions quickly.
• Ease in human contacts and team management.
• Good command of common IT tools.
• Sense of responsibility, autonomy and stress resistance.
• Driving licence essential.
