As part of strengthening our finance team, we are looking for an Accounting Assistant responsible for ensuring the daily processing of accounting operations and providing effective support to the Finance department.

Responsibilities
· Enter and post supplier invoices and other accounting documents.
· Check, allocate and file accounting documents.
· Monitor and post debtors and creditors.
· Prepare and perform bank account reconciliations.
· Perform matching and monitoring of customer and supplier accounts.
· Prepare supplier payments and ensure their follow-up.
· Participate in monitoring collections and unpaid invoices.
· Prepare statements and elements necessary for Swiss VAT.
· Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual closing tasks.
· Assist in preparing adjustment and closing entries.
· Perform consistency checks of accounting accounts.
· Participate in preparing documents required for the annual audit.
· Ensure filing and archiving of accounting documents.
· Assist in preparing various dashboards and financial reports.
· Respond to administrative requests related to accounting.
· Collaborate with different company departments as well as external partners (fiduciary, auditors, suppliers, banks, etc.).
· Perform any other accounting or administrative tasks related to the smooth running of the Finance department.
Education
· Commercial, accounting training or equivalent qualification.
· Additional training in Swiss accounting is an advantage.
· A Federal VET Diploma in Commerce, ideally with an accounting focus, is a plus.
Professional Experience
· 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in Switzerland.
· Good knowledge of Swiss general accounting.
· Experience in a fiduciary is an advantage.
· Experience in an international company or multicultural environment is a plus.
Technical Skills
· Good command of Swiss accounting principles.
· Good knowledge of Swiss VAT.
· Proficiency in Excel and common office tools.
· Experience with accounting/ERP software.
· Ability to perform bank reconciliations and accounting controls.
· Good understanding of supplier and customer processes.
Knowledge of Swiss accounting software is an advantage.
