Head of Technical Services
Responsibilities
- Leadership and targeted development of employees in the Technical Services department, consisting of several divisions with a total of over 70 employees
- Responsibility for preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and technical optimisation
- Planning, control and monitoring of maintenance and investment budgets as well as technical projects, conversions and revisions
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, health protection, environmental and quality requirements as well as collaboration with internal and external partners
Requirements
- Education: Completed technical degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable, with further training in business administration and leadership
- Professional experience: Several years of experience in technology, maintenance or an industrial environment, with leadership experience in a similar role
- Expertise: Good knowledge of maintenance, repairs, plant optimisation, operational organisation as well as budget management and investment control
- Safety and system knowledge: Knowledge of occupational safety, health protection and food safety; good IT skills in MS Office
- Personal strengths: Competent leadership, decisive, organised, solution-oriented, resilient, assertive, communicative, team-oriented as well as analytical, pragmatic and service-oriented
