Deputy Ward Manager (a)

What the professional daily routine looks like

• Supporting the ward management in planning, organisational, and leadership tasks
• Co-responsibility for achieving the performance targets on the ward with around 36 beds
• Co-responsibility for ensuring nursing quality as well as implementing and guaranteeing the sustainability of Lean Hospital
• Member of the ward management committee in the sense of Shared Governance
• Working directly in nursing within a motivated team consisting of approximately 30 staff members in total
• Managing a zone with the assigned patient group

Skills and potential

• Basic: Diploma as a nursing specialist (HF, FH or equivalent)
• Preferably: Experience in an acute care setting
• Very welcome: Team player qualities and enthusiasm for leadership tasks
• Also: Communicative organisational talent
• Absolutely: Enjoyment of a varied and lively hospital routine
