A varied position for a technically skilled person with a strong process understanding and interest in business applications. We are looking for an Application Manager who ensures the ongoing operation, gathers requirements from the specialist departments and actively accompanies the further development of the application landscape.
The role combines application management, business analysis and IT project work. You will work closely with specialist departments, central IT, support teams and external partners and contribute to sustainably improving digital processes.
Responsibilities:
Support and further development of business-critical applications in a production-related environment
Analysis of business requirements and translation into technical concepts and solution specifications
Coordination of application changes, system optimisations and smaller IT projects
Taking over partial project management for introductions and further developments of business applications
Managing collaboration between the specialist department, IT, support and external service providers
Documentation of systems and processes as well as support in the introduction of new solutions and user training
Qualifications:
Practical experience with business applications such as ERP, CAQ, EDI, MES, PLM or comparable solutions
Experience in IT project management, business analysis or application management
Strong understanding of business and production processes
Technical basic understanding for assessing requirements and collaborating with IT partners
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style with high personal responsibility
Communicative personality with enthusiasm for cross-departmental collaboration
