For our client, an innovative company in the industrial sector, we are looking for a technically skilled and creative individual for the development and film technology department.
In this position, you will accompany the creation of customised products from the initial technical idea to implementation in production. You will combine design, material knowledge, and practical manufacturing experience, working closely with various internal specialist departments.
- Development of prototypes as well as preparation of technical documents, drawings, patterns, and digital manufacturing data.
- Development and selection of suitable tools and aids for production.
- Organisation and support of the procurement of tools, fixtures, and other production-relevant aids.
- Determination and calculation of material and manufacturing costs as a basis for technical quotation preparation.
- Examination of various materials regarding their technical properties, such as weldability and load capacity.
- Support of development projects during transfer to production and supervision of initial production series.
- Technical support for project and production managers in selecting suitable materials, methods, and manufacturing processes.
- Participation in the optimisation of machines, systems, and tools.
- Assistance with parameterisation and programming of production equipment.
- Identification of improvement potentials and development of practical solutions for manufacturing.
- Further training in plastics technology, production technology, or a comparable qualification is advantageous.
- Professional experience in an industrial production environment.
- Understanding of technical development and project processes.
- Good knowledge of CAD and confident use of common IT systems.
- Strong technical understanding and enjoyment of constructive tasks.
- Creativity, initiative, and the ability to develop new solutions even for challenging issues.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with different departments.
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills.

- Completed technical or mechanical basic training.- Further training in plastics technology, production technology, or a comparable qualification is advantageous.
