The Clinic for Children and Adolescents is in a phase of targeted expansion of specialised university care services. We combine excellent clinical care with research, teaching, and innovation and develop new treatment concepts for children, adolescents, and their families.

Senior Physician 50%; Focus on Addiction Medicine in Adolescence (Outpatient)

Your Tasks

• Development and further expansion of a joint, transition-oriented care service for adolescents with substance use disorders at the interface between child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry, with predominantly consultative and liaison activities in cooperating institutions
• Supervision and training of assistant physicians as well as psychologists
• Participation in the senior physician on-call service for the entire child and adolescent psychiatric clinic
• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary and interprofessional partners inside and outside the clinic
• Involvement in research and university teaching as well as participation in the further development of innovative care concepts

Your Competences

• FMH specialist title in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy or an equivalent title with MEBEKO recognition (mandatory for foreign diplomas) or advanced training with corresponding clinical experience or proven interest in the field of addiction medicine and the treatment of adolescents with substance use disorders and comorbid conditions
• Enjoyment in developing new care structures and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Interest in research and university teaching
• Initiative, teamwork skills, and conceptual thinking
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least language level C1)
