We are offering an exclusive PhD position to a talented and highly motivated student. You should be interested in investigating interactions between metallopharmaceuticals and cells using a broad variety of biochemical and cell biological methods. In addition, the applicant has the unique opportunity to work interdisciplinary in close collaboration with various research groups located at the University of Bern and Inselspital Bern.
Your Profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic student with a Master's degree in cell biology / biology / chemistry / biochemistry / biomedicine / pharmacy. For this position, you should be detail-oriented, and enjoy multifaceted scientific challenges. While experience in molecular biology, tissue culture, or related techniques is an advantage, it is not a strict requirement.
What we offer
We provide you with the benefits of a university hospital employee including a state-of-the-art research environment. The position will be funded for a period of three years and supervised by Prof. Dr. Dr. J. T. Heverhagen. The PhD position is full time and paid according to the Swiss National Science Foundation.
