Quality Assurance & Food Safety Specialist 80% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

You are the central contact person for all topics related to quality assurance and food safety at our client. In this exciting position, you monitor compliance with all relevant quality standards and food safety regulations throughout the entire production process. You develop and implement HACCP concepts and ensure that all legal requirements as well as internal quality specifications are met. You conduct regular audits and inspections, analyse quality data, and initiate corrective actions if necessary. You work closely with production, purchasing, and product development to drive continuous improvements. Additionally, you are responsible for training employees in quality and hygiene matters and maintain contact with external testing bodies and certification organisations.

What do I need to be successful?

You have a degree in food technology, nutritional sciences, or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you already have several years of professional experience in quality management within the food industry and are well versed in HACCP, IFS, and other relevant quality standards. You work in a structured and conscientious manner, possess strong analytical thinking skills, and maintain an overview even in stressful situations. Your communication skills help you to engage various departments in quality matters and enforce improvements. You are confident in using MS Office and ideally also QM software. Very good German language skills are required; English skills are an advantage.
