The shunting staff, as a central professional group, make a key contribution to this. Attractive working conditions are important to us, even with irregular working hours. Night and weekend work is additionally compensated - e.g. with 16 francs per hour for Sunday work. For night shifts, you also receive time bonuses between 10 and 30 %. This means you have more free time than employees without night and weekend shifts.

What you can achieve.

• As a shunting specialist, you contribute to ensuring that our customers travel reliably and punctually by moving, forming and breaking down passenger trains according to the train formation plan.
• You direct individual shunting movements and return train compositions.
• Your responsibilities in train preparation include preheating and air conditioning the trains as well as carrying out train inspections and brake tests.
• You report irregularities, special incidents or deviations to the responsible authority.
• Due to your safety awareness, it is natural for you to work according to regulations.

What you bring with you.

• You are attentive, focused and physically resilient to successfully manage this demanding work in a 24-hour shift operation. In addition, you enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• You are already a trained shunting specialist Ai40.
• Since all instructions and documentation are electronic, you will quickly find your way around digital tools.
• You are fluent in German (level C2).
• You have perfect colour vision (no red-green colour blindness).
