Role:
The company is responsible for a broad public sector property portfolio and is thus a key player in the long-term development of urban living spaces.
The portfolio includes residential and commercial properties as well as buildings and areas with various uses.
Employees work on diverse topics around management, portfolio development, construction projects, leasing, and real estate transactions, interacting with various internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:
The strategic management of property acquisition at the city-wide level is central to your role.
You further develop the acquisition strategy, coordinate involved service departments, and accompany real estate and land transactions from planning to acquisition.
In acquisition negotiations, you represent the city’s interests vis-à-vis owners, partners, and other stakeholders.
At the same time, you take on the technical, personnel, and organisational leadership of a small acquisition team.
Your analyses, proposals, and technical documentation serve as the basis for decisions by the city council, municipal council, and other leadership bodies.
Qualifications:
A university degree (Uni/ETH/MAS), for example in economics, law, business, or architecture, forms your professional foundation.
Additionally, you have solid further training in property management or property valuation.
You bring several years of experience in property acquisition or real estate consulting as well as very good knowledge of the Zurich market.
You have experience in leadership and large organisations and convince through negotiation skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
Fluent written and spoken German and a convincing, assertive communication style.
