Structural Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a technically proficient Structural Engineer / Statics Specialist to handle demanding projects in structural engineering. You will carry out static calculations and develop economical and feasible structural concepts for various building projects and special constructions. You will work closely with architects, specialist planners, and clients, accompanying projects from static conception to execution. Depending on experience, there is the possibility to take on additional responsibility in project management and site supervision.
Responsibilities:
Independent execution of static calculations and structural analyses for demanding construction projects
Development and dimensioning of economical structural concepts in structural engineering
Design of structures and components considering relevant SIA standards
Preparation and review of static proofs, calculation models, and design documents
Use of modern statics and FEM software for modelling and calculation of load-bearing structures
Development of constructive solutions in coordination with architects, specialist planners, and clients
Technical support of construction and execution planning as well as review of statically relevant details
Optimisation of structures regarding cost-effectiveness, material use, and feasibility
Support with technical clarifications during the execution and realisation phase
Participation in the further development of internal calculation, planning, and quality standards
Depending on experience, taking on partial project or project management tasks
Optional execution of site inspections and technical site supervision
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Structural Engineer FH/ETH/University specialising in structural engineering or structural design
Professional experience in statics and structural design is an advantage; qualified career starters are also welcome
Solid knowledge in structural analysis, structural design, and structural engineering
Knowledge of relevant Swiss SIA standards
Experience with FEM and statics software, such as Dlubal, SOFiSTiK or FRILO, is an advantage
Knowledge in planning and design of common concrete, steel, or composite structures
Good German language skills, spoken and written
