Role:
In this role, you will take on very varied and exciting tasks with a lot of responsibility and a high degree of independence. You will benefit from comprehensive training that enables you to confidently handle all topics in financial accounting. Furthermore, you will manage your tasks independently and organise your workflows with a high level of personal responsibility. You will work in an internationally active group and have the opportunity to exchange expertise with other locations in Europe. Through internal and external training, you will continuously develop your professional and personal skills.
Responsibilities:
- You will manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, including dunning, debt collection, and payment processing.
- In this role, you will carefully manage and reconcile bank, postal, and asset accounting.
- You will post provisions and accruals and support monthly closings.
- As a specialist in financial accounting, you will be responsible for the monthly balance reconciliation.
- You will prepare VAT returns for Switzerland and Germany and submit withholding tax refund claims.
- In this role, you will supervise and train commercial apprentices in the finance area as a practical trainer.
Qualifications:
- Completed commercial basic training
- Several years of professional experience in finance
- Solid understanding of taxes and social security
- Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
- Solution-oriented, thorough, and independently structured working style
