Conventional Mechanic - Artistic Automata

We are looking for an experienced conventional mechanic to participate in the manufacture, adjustment, and fine-tuning of high-precision mechanisms intended for artistic automata. You will produce complex mechanical parts, either single units or in very small series, requiring meticulousness, expertise, and mastery of conventional techniques.

Desired Profile

• Federal VET Diploma as Precision Mechanic or deemed equivalent
• Proven experience in conventional machining, watchmaking, artistic mechanics, or complex mechanisms
• Proficiency in reading plans, tolerances, and control methods
• Strong skills in fitting, assembly, and precision mechanics
• Confidence in producing single parts or prototypes
• Manual dexterity, autonomy, rigour, and attention to detail

• Produce precision mechanical parts on conventional lathes and milling machines
• Carry out turning, milling, drilling, fitting, and necessary rework operations
• Manufacture or adapt components from plans, sketches, or existing parts
• Participate in the assembly, adjustment, and fine-tuning of complex mechanisms
• Check dimensions, clearances, tolerances, and the functioning of parts and assemblies produced
• Identify malfunctions and provide necessary mechanical corrections
