As part of a temporary reinforcement within the Automation & Energy team (SWS Campus Riviera), we are looking for a Building Automation Engineer (M/F) to ensure the continuity of ongoing projects within a team of 3 people.
In this role, you will work closely with the internal team to structure, secure and enhance the technical data of the building infrastructures, while providing support on automation and energy topics.
How you will make a difference as a Building Automation Engineer
- In collaboration with the internal team, you will map the BA/IT networks to provide a clear and up-to-date view of the existing infrastructures.
- You will assist in revising internal procedures with the aim of standardising and facilitating knowledge transfer.
- You will establish a detailed inventory of the applications used (EMS, Ignition, SPM, PCVue), identifying their usage and criticality.
- You will consolidate energy readings across all sites to ensure reliable multi-site consumption monitoring.
- You will improve the reliability of existing SHE reports by enhancing their quality and consistency over time.
- You will structure data on building occupancy and usage.
- You will design Power BI dashboards that enable the team to visualise and manage key indicators in real time.
- You will automate data consistency checks, thereby reducing repetitive manual verifications.
- You will write operational maintenance documentation, ensuring the sustainability of the tools implemented after your assignment.
Qualifications
What will enable you to succeed
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a building IT specialist or automation engineer, or you have a technical building education complemented by a genuine interest in IT.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- You master Power BI and Excel at an advanced level and know how to use them to structure and present complex data.
- You have knowledge of networks and BMS (BACnet, Modbus, KNX).
- You demonstrate thorough documentation skills and a strong sense of organisation in managing your tasks.
- You are autonomous, results-oriented, and comfortable working with both IT teams and field technicians.
- Good level of English, both spoken and written.
