Head of Real Estate Development MIAG (80-100%)
Your tasks – our position
Overall project management for the relocation of the Biel Hospital Centre site:
- Management of the overall project for the relocation of the Biel Hospital Centre site: taking full responsibility for achieving the project goals according to the project definition
- Iterative review and updating of project structures and control instruments (WBS, PQM, etc.)
- Reporting and preparation of decisions for project management
- Iterative total cost determination and annual financial planning
- Leadership of internal and external project and sub-project managers based on sub-project goals and accordingly forward-looking resource planning and procurement
- Meeting management according to the project manual
- Management of project-related quality management (PQM)
- Management of the overall schedule
- Review and plausibility check of the consistency of sub-project orders
- Forward-looking control of project communication
Line management as Head of Real Estate Development
- Participation in building the core organisation of real estate development within MIAG
- Leadership of the real estate development department (internal and external project managers)
- Situational involvement or ramp-up in further development projects of MIAG or SZB
Your skills – our requirements
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in client-side overall project management of large construction projects > CHF 200 million
- Experience with hospital, laboratory, or industrial construction projects
- Extensive leadership experience
- Resilient personality (high composure, goal orientation, persistence, seniority)
- German or French speaking with good knowledge of the other language
- Experience in the construction implementation of hospital building projects
- Business economics education at university level (Master or equivalent)
- Technical education at university level (Master or equivalent)
- Experience in the TU/GU environment
