Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d)

You analyse and handle cyber security incidents and further develop complex use cases.
In this role, you triage security alerts, identify false positives, and assess incidents comprehensibly.
You prioritise and document security incidents and formulate customer reports clearly and precisely.
You support customers in implementing measures and drive the further development of the CSIC infrastructure as well as detection rules and monitoring approaches.
In this role, you interpret logs in the SIEM and derive a coherent overall picture from individual events.
You participate in projects, major incidents, and forensic assignments and support the purple team if required.
Qualifications:
You have a solid technical education (degree in computer science, CAS/MAS Information Security, Incident Handler / Security Analyst certifications or similar) and several years of professional experience in a Security Operations Center SOC.
You possess broad basic knowledge in information technologies such as Windows, Linux, networking, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft Security Stack.
You are fascinated by hacking, analysing security vulnerabilities, and conducting or accompanying vulnerability analyses and pentesting.
You are interested in attack techniques TTPs from MITRE ATT&CK and use this knowledge to improve defence measures, use cases, and detection logic.
Ideally, you bring experience in threat hunting.
You are a team player, loyal, independent, have an impeccable reputation, are fluent in German and English both spoken and written, and are willing to participate in regular on-call duty.
