Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced Business Controller for a versatile role in operational and strategic controlling. The company operates in a technically oriented industrial environment. You will be responsible for management reporting, analyse cost and performance indicators and provide decision-relevant foundations for various departments.
Responsibilities:
Creation and further development of the Management Information System (MIS) as well as profit centre accounting
Analysis of cost centre variances and derivation of appropriate measures
Further development and optimisation of internal reporting and controlling tools
Preparation and analysis of KPI and management reports
Conducting independent ad hoc analyses and profitability evaluations
Preparation of decision-relevant foundations for management and departments
Support in budgeting, forecasting and cost planning
Further development of processes and tools in controlling and cost management
Qualifications:
Advanced business education, for example university of applied sciences, professional certificate in finance and accounting or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in controlling
Sound knowledge in management reporting, KPI controlling and cost accounting
Very good analytical skills and confident handling of key figures and financial data
Experience with reporting and controlling systems as well as very good Excel skills
