Plant and Equipment Builder in Toolmaking
Activities
- Professional assembly of assemblies (thermoforming tools)
- Maintenance, overhaul and repair of existing tools
- Technical assessment and preventive inspection of tool components
- Turning, milling, polishing, grinding and laser welding of workpieces
- Drilling vacuum holes according to specified specifications
- Participation in optimisations and mechanical improvements to tools
- Support in building up and maintaining technical know-how in toolmaking
Requirements
- Training as a plant and equipment builder EFZ, polymechanic EFZ, toolmaker or similar
- Experience in conventional and NC-controlled metalworking
- Enjoyment of precise fine mechanical work as well as assembly of technical assemblies
- Confident reading of technical drawings and precise implementation in practice
- High dexterity, pronounced manual skills and enjoyment of precision work
- Good spatial imagination as well as an exact and reliable working method
- Independent, solution-oriented and responsible personality
