What you can achieve.

• As a project manager, you are responsible for the smooth running of rail infrastructure projects in the field of civil engineering.
• You accompany your projects in all phases – from the preliminary study to commissioning – in close cooperation with internal specialist departments and external partners. In this role, you actively contribute to complex, multidisciplinary projects and rail operations.
• As a guarantor for the proper execution of your projects, you ensure quality, safety, costs, and deadlines.
• You take overall responsibility for execution and align yourself with the processes and particularities of SBB.
• You review the planning of civil engineering structures and also carry out internal controls and expert assessments.
• You represent your projects in internal and external committees and bodies.

What you bring with you.

• Your conceptual skills, quick comprehension, and enthusiasm for civil engineering enable you to quickly and thoroughly familiarise yourself with your new role at SBB.
• You are characterised by a proactive and flexible working style. In addition, you have good persuasive skills and a strong team affinity.
• Over the years, you have gained at least 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering (planning office, construction management) as well as experience in project management.
• Experience in project management both in the preliminary project phase and in the execution phase is required. Experience in the railway sector is an advantage.
• For the successful implementation of such projects, you have a higher education as an engineer in civil engineering (university or university of applied sciences).
• You communicate fluently in German (at least C1 level).
