In this position, you ensure the availability, safety and long-term performance of modern production facilities. You look after complex machine and control systems, carry out preventive maintenance measures and develop sustainable solutions to optimise existing systems. With your technical understanding of mechanics, electrical engineering and automation, you actively contribute to the continuous improvement of production processes.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring high system availability through targeted maintenance, repair and optimisation measures
Development and implementation of preventive maintenance strategies including planning and documentation of maintenance work
Analysis of system conditions as well as early detection and rectification of potential faults
Support, adjustment and diagnosis of PLC controls as well as modern and existing machine controls
Optimisation of interfaces between ERP systems and machine controls
Carrying out repairs and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Support in technical improvements to increase operational safety, efficiency and service life of the systems
Support and optimisation of robotic systems in an industrial environment
Collaboration with internal departments for the sustainable development of production infrastructure
Qualifications:
Completed training as an automation technician EFZ, electrical engineer or a comparable technical qualification
Sound knowledge in mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics
Experience in maintenance and support of complex production and automation systems
Confident handling of PLC systems as well as understanding of modern and older control technologies
Knowledge in robotics, ideally with systems such as ABB or KUKA
Ability to analyse complex technical contexts and implement practical solutions
High quality and safety awareness
Independent, reliable and structured working style with high initiative
Team-oriented personality with enthusiasm for precision, performance and continuous improvement
Resilience, flexibility and a positive attitude in a dynamic production environment
Fluent German skills
