To strengthen our team and support the development of our activities, we are looking for our future Transport & Logistics Manager to join Celsa-Charmettes SA, a long-established and recognised company in the petroleum products sector.

With your team of around 20 employees, you ensure smooth, efficient operation in compliance with our service quality requirements.

Operational Management

▪ Ensure the operational coordination of transport and logistics activities. ▪ Plan and manage transport activities by optimising the use of vehicles, personnel and available resources, while continuously seeking efficiency and cost gains.

Budget Management and Optimisation

▪ Establish budget planning related to transport operations. ▪ Monitor operational costs and propose appropriate optimisation measures.

Management and Internal Collaboration

▪ Supervise, support and develop drivers as well as dispatch managers. ▪ Work closely with internal departments to ensure effective coordination of activities. ▪ Participate in organisational developments related to evolving operational needs.

Safety, Compliance and Administrative Follow-up

▪ Ensure compliance with safety and occupational health instructions. ▪ Control and manage vehicle compliance (maintenance and technical inspections). ▪ Prepare accident reports and ensure follow-up with clients and insurers.

Digitalisation and Service Quality

▪ Continue the digitalisation of logistics processes to progressively move towards paperless logistics. ▪ Guarantee a high level of service, quality and customer orientation.

Your Profile

To succeed in this responsible role, you ideally have a profile combining operational skills, management sense and a focus on continuous improvement.

Education and Experience ▪ Initial training in logistics, technical or commercial fields, ideally complemented by further training in transport and logistics operations management. ▪ Several years of experience in an operational management role, preferably in logistics and transport.

Management and Organisation ▪ Strong knowledge of personnel management and process optimisation. ▪ Proven experience in supervising, supporting and developing employees or teams.

Digital Skills and Continuous Improvement

▪ Good IT skills and a strong interest in digital logistics processes. ▪ Entrepreneurial spirit, sense of priorities and good understanding of issues related to costs, quality and productivity.
