About the job
As part of your role, you participate in the implementation, maintenance and optimisation as well as the installation of data centre infrastructures.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Installation and configuration of Microsoft Server, Office 365, and other applications. Linux is a plus
- Management and maintenance of physical servers, including setup and troubleshooting
- Installation, management of VMware and Hyper-V for server installation
- Administration and maintenance of Active Directory
- Network support, including switches, routers and firewalls
- System monitoring ensuring performance and compliance with KPIs
- Management of system documentation ensuring it is up to date (ITIL)
- Diagnosis and resolution of data centre incidents, including servers, storage and network equipment
- Analysis, audit and advice to clients
It is a plus if you have:
- Knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including storage and virtualisation
- SAN management
- Implementation and management of a disaster recovery plan (DRP)
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, etc.
- Ensuring data centre security, as well as compliance with industry standards
- Education: HES/EPF or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the data centre field
- Certification and/or solid experience in the data centre field (Microsoft certification, VCP, CDNP, NCDA) on the market and the latest technological advances
- Regular adaptation of skills in relation to a constantly evolving sector
- Curious, analytical and team spirit, good interpersonal skills
- Native French speaker with very good knowledge of English and German
- Driving licence required
- Workplace: Bussigny or Satigny with numerous trips throughout French-speaking Switzerland to visit our clients
