Strategic Buyer 80-100% (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 110,000Role:
As a technical buyer, you are responsible for the operational and strategic procurement of technical products, components, and services. You work closely with engineering, production, quality assurance, and logistics to ensure reliable and economical supply.
Responsibilities:
Procurement of technical components, assemblies, raw materials, and services
Obtaining and comparing offers as well as conducting price and contract negotiations
Selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers
Building and maintaining long-term supplier relationships
Placing orders and monitoring delivery dates
Analysing procurement markets and identifying saving potentials
Supporting make-or-buy decisions
Collaborating with design and development in selecting suitable materials and components
Handling complaints and supplier deviations in cooperation with quality assurance
Maintaining purchasing and supplier master data in the ERP system
Participating in projects to optimise costs, quality, delivery times, and procurement processes
Qualifications:
Completed technical or commercial training, ideally with further education in purchasing
Professional experience in technical purchasing or a comparable function
Good technical knowledge and understanding of drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Negotiation skills and strong cost awareness
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Confident manner and good communication skills
Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
Good user knowledge of MS Office and ideally experience with an ERP system
Team spirit, reliability, and a high sense of responsibility
