As part of our development in the canton of Vaud, we are looking for 2 motivated and dynamic 100% itinerant versatile dry cleaning employees to join our teams.

No experience in dry cleaning is necessary: free internal training is provided!

Your tasks

The role combines customer reception and service, as well as technical textile treatment.

Reception and customer relations

• Welcome customers and receive their garments.
• Advise them on services suited to their needs.
• Ensure the delivery of orders.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.

Textile care and treatment

• Perform stain removal on garments.
• Carry out washing and drying operations.
• Ensure ironing and preparation of items.
• Check the quality of garments before returning them to customers.
• Adhere to company procedures and quality standards.

You will be required to work in several stores across the canton of Vaud, depending on team needs.

Job conditions

• Contract: Permanent
• Work rate: 100%
• Working hours: 42 hours per week
• Salary: 3,825 CHF gross per month
• Travel allowance: 250 CHF gross per month
• 13th month pay
• Organisation: work over 5 days per week
• Rest days: Sundays and one additional weekday, agreed with the manager and sector supervisor
• Area: travel between several stores in the canton of Vaud, excluding Aigle and Nyon

A personal vehicle is essential to ensure travel between the different stores.

Working hours

The usual store opening hours are from 8 am to 7 pm. Hours are organised according to store needs, alternating between opening and closing shifts (every other week):

• Opening: 8:30 am to 5 pm.
• Closing: 10 am to 7 pm.

Occasional late shifts are also organised, with finishing times up to 9 pm. Good availability and adaptability to working hours are therefore necessary.

Profile sought

We are primarily looking for a motivated, serious and reliable person who wishes to learn a new profession.

You are:

• Dynamic, thorough and organised.
• Comfortable with customer relations and possess a good sense of service.
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Meticulous and attentive to the quality of your work.
• In good physical condition, as the job involves standing for much of the day, working in sometimes warm environments and frequent travel between the reception and back shop.
• Comfortable in French, both spoken and written, to welcome and advise customers.

Experience in catering, hospitality, retail, laundry or dry cleaning is an asset, but beginners are welcome. Comprehensive training will enable you to acquire the necessary technical skills.
