Mandated by one of our clients, a hotel establishment in the Central Valais plain, we are looking for a dynamic profile to fill the position of:
Assistant General Housekeeper (M/F)
Job Description
In close collaboration with the General Housekeeper, you will actively participate in the management and organisation of the housekeeping department.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Supervise and control the quality of cleaning of rooms and public areas
- Manage and support the team of chambermaids/valets
- Participate in the preparation of schedules and management of working hours
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and internal procedures
- Manage stocks of linen, cleaning products and equipment
- Train new employees
- Substitute for the Housekeeper in their absence
Profile Sought
- Hotel training or proven experience in a similar position
- Experience in a 4* or 5* establishment is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Natural leadership and excellent organisational skills
- Good stress resistance and team spirit
- Fluency in French, any other language is an advantage
