Senior Physician: Cardiac Imaging / Heart CT and Heart MRI

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual for the field of Cardiac Imaging with a focus on Heart CT and/or Heart MRI. Cardiac imaging is a central cross-sectional area of cardiovascular medicine and is led interdisciplinarily together with radiology. It combines state-of-the-art technology, clinical decision-making, research, and interdisciplinary patient care. The Heart/Vascular medical department unites the university clinics of cardiology, heart and vascular surgery, as well as angiology. As a nationally leading centre in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and circulatory diseases, our offering encompasses the entire spectrum of modern cardiovascular diagnostics and therapy. The clinics enjoy national and international recognition in research, innovation, and clinical care.

What to expect

We offer you an attractive and varied role in a university top centre with state-of-the-art infrastructure and great development potential. You will work in one of the largest cardiovascular imaging centres in Switzerland, in a highly specialised university environment with direct integration into clinical cardiology, radiology, and other specialist disciplines. In the field of cardiac imaging, you can expect in particular:

• A motivated, collegial, and interdisciplinary team in close collaboration with radiology, with international networking as well as high clinical and academic expertise
• Conducting and reporting of Heart CT and/or Heart MRI examinations
• Cardiovascular photon-counting CT programme with around 6,000 cardiovascular CT examinations annually
• Heart MRI programme with around 2,500 heart MRI examinations annually
• Supervision and training of assistant doctors and fellows

What you bring

• Specialist title in cardiology, CH or Europe
• Proven subspecialisation in Heart CT and/or Heart MRI
• Ideally Level-3 certification or equivalent qualification in Heart CT and/or Heart MRI, e.g. SCCT, SCMR or EACVI
• Interest in interdisciplinary collaboration with radiology and all cardiovascular specialist disciplines
• You are a motivated, team-oriented, and clinically committed individual with enthusiasm for modern cardiac imaging.
• Enjoyment of academic medicine, research, innovation, and teaching
• Good German language skills or willingness to improve these promptly
• An independent, reliable, and communicative working style
