Work in one of the most exciting industries in Switzerland - sustainable energy! Contribute to the energy future. In this exciting position, you are responsible for the implementation of projects in the field of steel hydraulics within our Axpo power plant park as well as for external customers.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Handling all questions and concerns related to steel hydraulics in refurbishment, maintenance and new construction projects
Independent management of projects in all phases of project execution - from planning to commissioning
Design of steel hydraulic structures (existing or new)
Review of calculations and designs from suppliers
Inspection of existing facilities for residual load capacity and earthquake safety
Preparation of specifications, contracts and tender documents as well as coordination with customers and suppliers
Ensuring compliance with cost, schedule and quality requirements
Collaboration with internal and external partners such as authorities, advisory groups and associations
Profile & Requirements:
Completed studies as a civil engineer or mechanical engineer (ETH / FH / TU)
Several years of experience in the field of steel hydraulics (company or planning office)
Proven knowledge in the design and planning of steel hydraulic structures (armoured pressure systems, dam facilities, water intakes etc.)
Experience in corrosion protection and ideally in welding technology and structural engineering
Several years of project management experience is an advantage
Knowledge of tendering and contract management is an advantage
